kill procrastination

a lovely rule my husband found online:

THE TWO MINUTE RULE

#1. if it takes less than two minutes, then do it NOW.

wash your dishes right after eating
take out the garbage
send an email
clean clutter
now.


#2. if it takes more than two minutes to complete...then just start it!
"when you start a new habit, it should take less than two minutes to do"

so basically the rule follows the "physics of real life". 
if you START doing something, it's easier to continue doing it.


this two minute rule "embraces the idea that all sorts of good things happen once you get started.

if this rule helps my husband do the dishes more often and chuck the garbage more frequently (which he is doing), then i definitely approve of this two minute rule!!!
